Good Day to all,
And what a fine morning it is. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, my what a wonderful day.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day Weekend. I sure did. Got to move 7 yards of rock Sunday Monday .Let me tell ya, that was a dam good time. But let's move on shall we.
Tomorrow is First Wednesday. There is going to be wineries in town. Lange Winery will be pouring at yours truly, The Wine Behren. Shani will be pouring 07 Pinot Gris "Reserve," 06 Chardonnay "Freedom Hill Vineyard," 06 Pinot Noir "Reserve" and 06 Pinot Noir "Three Hills Cuvee." One hell of a line up. Prices range from $20 to $40.
Be sure to come check out the local musical talent. My friend EJ and Tom's Band Reload will be playing from 6-8 and my other friend Dave Hartman will be opening for them from 4-6. Gonna be a rocking good time.
This weekend I will be hosting 2 tastings. Friday night I welcome back John and Galo from Purple Cow Vineyards. Hopefully I can entice John to bring some Cab Franc or Marechal Foch or even there Tempranillo. We shall see. Thanks you guys. Look forward to having you no matter what you bring.
Saturday Night I have Antica Terra Winery here. The Antica Terra Vineyard was established in 1989, and is located in the Eola Hills region of the Willamette Valley. Chad will be pouring a vertical tasting of there Pinot Noirs. Tasting fee will be $5.00. I am not sure as to which vintages he will bring but should be a nice treat on a Saturday evening, 5-8.
So, all in all looks like an actioned packed week. Look forward to seeing you all.
Ciao
Scott
