I am going to start something different aswell, I want to start doing a wine of the month. This is me finding a great bottle of wine for you for a great value. I need to talk to some of my reps and locate a deal for ya. So, keep this in mind. Hopefully next week, I will have found a diamond in the ruff for ya.

Newsletter

Hey there wine fans,

Sorry for the delay. I know how all of you sit and hover over your computer Tuesday afternoon's waiting patiently for my newsletter. Well, the wait is over. I am back from Bend and ready to rock your world.

Friday night, North Berkley Imports will be here and Chris and I have come up with an awesome line up for ya. We have 3 Italian wines and 3 Rhone wines. All 6 are gonna be high end so you really don't want to miss these wines.

Saturday night EJ Bazea and 3 other musicians will be here rockin the The Wine Behren with some original Blues/Jazz. No cover, 6-9pm.
Pop in and check out some great music and stay for a glass.

Newsletter

Howdy wine lovers,

Another great week in the beautiful Pacific Northwest has come and gone and we are still alive and drinking. Yeah for us.

I would like to thank all my customers and Apolloni Winery for making The Wine Maker Dinner last Saturday evening a huge success. My thanks also goes out to my caterer Dawn & Gary Houser with Sundail Specialty Catering and to Tina & Trish for making it a night to remember and to my wonderful musican EJ Bazea. Thanks to all, our best one yet.

OK, so what's going on this week, we have live music here Wednesday night from 6-9, no cover.

Friday night the one and only David Hill Winery is here. Will will be here pouring some of there higher end stuff. $5.00 tasting fee, tasting from 5-8.
Mi familia will be here as well on Friday, so come on down and meet Mom, if you haven't already and my Aunt Linda and my Nonnie, (Grandma in Italian)

On Saturday March 28th I have a special treat for all you music buffs out there. EJ and a few others will be here performing some Blues. They are getting ready for the Blues festival in Portland. So, mark it on your calendar, no cover, 6-9 pm.

One more special treat for ya, on Thursday April 9th I will have the Bluegrass Band 2 Licks 2 many performing here. No cover. 7-9pm.

And do not forget April Fools Day is 1st Wednesday.

Greetings Guys & Gals,

Welcome to another wonderful week in the Pacific North West. A little sunshine, some rain, toss in some hail, and yes, even a little snow. What a week, huh?

Well we have a good week here for all you wine lovers. And even you weather lovers.

We have some live music for you tomorrow evening (Wednesday) from 6-8/9. No cover. Live acoustic guitar and wine, a great way to spend a chilly Wednesday evening. Hope to see you here.

Friday night I have a new distributor here. Cote d'Or Imports will be here and Laurent will be pouring his entire portfolio which has 2 sparkling wines, 2 whites, 2 reds and a yummy dessert wine. All are quite amazing.
So if you love French wines, you do not want to be anywhere else Friday evening but right here at your friendly neighborhood wine bar. The Wine Behren. Tasting is from 5-8, with a $5.00 tasting fee.

My Saturday night Wine Maker Dinner at Apolloni is sold out. So thank you all who purchased tickets for this event, and I am sorry for those of you who did not and wanted to go. I actually have a waiting list for this one, so next time, please get your tickets as soon as you can. No lolly gagging.

I will do another one with Apolloni this summer. I will keep you all posted as to when.

Hello wine lovers,

Tomorrow is 1st Wednesday, so get your butts on down here for a little wine tasting and art walk. I have Deux Fen Estates from Oregon City here at The Wine Behren. We have 5 wineries in town and 8 artists. Don't miss out.

I will have live acoustic music here this 1st Wednesday. 7-9 no cover.

Friday night C & G Wines will be here and Solo is pouring Kopke Ports, a ruby, tawny, a 10 year tawny and a 1994 vintage port. He will also have a Alianca Vinho Verde $12.00, and a Quinta dos Roques 2004 Tinto $15.00

Some great ports, you really don't want to miss these wines.

Saturday night's theme is the 70's, so dawn those tye dye shirts or break out the bell bottoms for some great discounts here and at Grendel's.
