Good morning/afternoon kids.
Seems like forever since I have written one of these newsletters. That's ok, keeps you all guessing.
Tomorrow is the second to last Farmers Market so be sure to come down and get your veggies, birdhouses, wine or pulled pork burritos. Whatever it is you crave, hint, hint....vino, vino, vino. The weather is suppose to be gorgeous, well for October anyways. So come on down and say hi and have a glass of wine.
This Friday my good friend Solo, yes, I said Solo, like Han Solo, from C & G Wines is going to be here and he has some amazing Italian Wines he will be pouring. Also a great Portuguese port, just in time for the holiday season.
To start off Terre di Gioia 2006 Tocai Friulano $12.00, Casalone 2006 Cortese $12.00, Pietro Rinaldi 2007 Moscato $18.00. For da reds, Branchini 2006 Pignoletto $17.00, Marchesi Alfieri 2005 Barbera di Alba $25.00, Castello di Verduno 2001 Barberesco at $34.00. And a Kopke Tawny port for $15.00.
Like I said, a great line up for Friday.
The November 15th Tasting is sold out. Sorry for those of you who will not be joining us. But, do not fret, for I shall do another. Just don't know when yet.
And last, thanks to all who attended my Class on Saturday night. It went well, we had a good time and I think we all learned something.
Ciao for now.
