Wine Behren News Letter

Long weekends are great and all, but man do I pay for it on Tuesday. Doesn't it seem like we play even harder when we have long weekends. Oh, I'm not complaining, I just need to adjust my alcohol intake, is all. Hope you all had a great weekend.

What's happening this week at the good ol' Wine Behren, your friendly neighborhood wine shop.

Farmer's Market is in full effect tomorrow from 4-8. Don't miss out on all that fresh produce.
There will be live music with " Free Wine" here at the Wine Behren from 6-8. No cover.

Friday night I am hosting Chris with North Berkley Imports. Chris will be pouring Chilean Wines. 6 outstanding wines for under $15.00. That's right boys and girls, 6 wines for under 20 bucks. These wines are amazing. Check them out:
2007 Alto Sol Chardonnay, Elqui Valley $15.00
2006 Chono Riesling, Bio Bio Valley (90pts WA) $12.00
2007 Rayun Rosé of Syrah, Central Valley $10.00
2006 Alto Sol Syrah-Carmenere, Elqui Valley $15.00
2007 Chono Syrah, Elqui Valley $16.00
2006 Quinta Viluco Cabernet, Rapel Valley $14.00

A little something for everyone, wouldn't you say?

Saturday, our good friend EJ and his new band The Andy Harrison band will be performing at The Venetian in downtown Hillsboro. Show starts at 7:30. So I'm thinking, glass of wine at The Wine Behren, then we can all go check it out. Sound like a plan?

OK, all you golfers out there. if you have not heard I am hosting the 1st Annual Wine Behren Scramble, Saturday, July 25th at Sunset Golf Course. Tickets to play are $50.00.
